Re: OOC

Keys?  We don't need no stinkin' keys!

I believe I have the key in question if someone wants to be boring and open locks in a way that doesn't involve brute force!

Re: OOC

Ilsy, you're welcome to get medieval on the door if you want. Strength (Athletics) 18 will get the door open as well.

The corpse is hanging by the neck, from a dusty old rope.

Re: OOC

Is there a stool or chair nearby from which the person could have dropped, like suicide?

Re: OOC

There is a bed, a small table, chairs, and a chest that all could have been used. The length of the rope, and the way it was tied off both suggest it was suicide as well. Had he been executed, the rope likely would have been tied off in a different way and a different place from where it was.

Re: OOC

Just to clarify, I was just sharing info because people paid more attention. Whether or not you look into the coffins is entirely up to you. You're totally free to leave them there and push on, or go into those rooms and pop the coffin lids.

depending on the rest of the initiatives, you might end up having advantage on your attack, Alpha. Chatterball takes the help action

Re: OOC

quote:
Ilsy went into a rage, and rushed forward, swinging her maul at the cannibal's ugly face, cracking into its jaw and shattering many of it's terrible teeth.  Bits of crumbled teeth flew so far as to bounce off of the far wall as the cannibal himself crumpled to the ground. (Slavering Cannibal takes 13 damage, and is Dead)

Nice visual!

I got pulled into meetings with the Korean dev team today, so had little opportunity for posting.

I'll try to get us moving in the morning.

Re: OOC

I had family in town this weekend, so little time for posting. It's a busy day at work as well, with a live game after work, so it will be late evening before I have a chance to respond here.

Looks like we have a majority consensus to leave the big guy here and move on. I don't want to rush the scene if you're not ready to move on.

I got new meds earlier this week, and they're giving me vertigo, nausea, and headaches.

I'll get us moving when my brain works again.

Re: OOC

Since both Damon and Elara have made mention of "choosing a direction", I just wanted to point out...

Alpha, msg #603:
He then gently pushed his way past people into the hallway.  At the junction, he continued straight into the south hallway.

Alpha already picked a new direction.

PS: Hope you feel better soon, Jason!
