Hello to you two. For now we have three peoples. I have three others appliant who asked me questions, we will see if they want to joint.

First question I want to ask: How big do you want the scope to be, only one city or a larger area? I have a fictional city in head but I am confortable with larger area. In this case everyone will need a power go fast or someone who can transport other.

Edit: Two more people. I will accept the last one if he want but I will close the game after.

I'd be fine with a city-wide scope, maybe with the occasional external threat that sees us questing out on a temporary basis.

What power level are we starting at? I'm typically more partial to PL8 scale, but I'm flexible.

I am thinking the scope can be city wide, with the occasional nation-wide issues. That leaves us as capable heroes who can help with big things, but are usually focused on their neighborhood.

I am working on a teleporting scrapper going by the name of Cyclone. Usual teleporting schtick: short and long range transport with focus on melee strikes, with a "teleport/gateway" set of flavors.

What else is everyone thinking about?

For now we will start at PL10 with a campaign focused on city level. Any objections?

A little precision, the characters can have mutated, so having non-human appearance is fine but come with obvious problem.

I wasn't yet thinking of anything in particular. At the moment I am going down my character roster and disqualifying anyone who can't have acquired their powers from a magic meteorite. So, no gynoids, no goddesses, no alien pixie plantgirls, no spirit mediums, no cyborgs, etc.

Yes, but you can use the concept as a base, the gynoids could be a human mutated into metal, same for the plantgirl. plus develloping power can be a traumatic experience, so characters can partial amnesia or other mental derangements.

How do you feel about the Morph power?

Instead of the teleporting scrapper, I am now considering something more classical "mutant", now that I remember that this is "meteorite radiation accident". I am thinking about calling this guy "Elemental", and having him have four sets of powers, one for each of the classic elements: Air, Water, Fire, Earth.

Let me know if this is something you can work with.

Not really. The lore around the characters I was talking about is very specific and a significant part of what makes them what they are.

Loony: When I said as a base I wantes to said in term of astetic. And for your second question: Ralshae, Crois and Anna (I don't know the characters, I just find their designs more interesting than the rest).

Kinister: I have no problem for the concept.

Power Profiles is a terrible book.

After sleeping on it the characters from my roster that seem most interested in the setting are Felicia, a super-strength magical girl bruiser; and Kaori, a former antagonist of mine who has nebulously-defined "bug powers." Do either of these characters sound interesting to anyone or should I widen the net?

I have access to the Power Profiles book, I personally don't use it that much but you can use it.

The game has now six players, I will stop taking RTJ.

Loony: If I was a player I would take the bug power, but simply because I find super-strength a little generic. But the two characters can be interesting if they have their place in the team.

Super-strength magical girl, remember! With sparkles and hearts! And... cows, because that's Felicia's theme. I don't really do generic; I've tossed so many good builds just because they wouldn't be interesting.

For Super-Genius, they can produce gadgets but if they don't often maintened them, they break down. It don't change anything in game terms but in narative you can't base a business on these items since you are the only one who can build them (limiting the production) and you need to frenquently repair the one you give (limiting the total number and their spread).

This is to kept superscience items rare. Some gadgets can be studied and reverse engineered by scientists but it will be on case to case basis.

For now we have:
-Loony: Super-strong 'magical girl' / bug power
-TMTO: Psychic
-Yun: Gravity Master / Super Genius
-Kinister: Elementalist / Teleporter
